The Davines Group has always been committed to making the highest quality products that meet high ethical standards. For this reason, in respect of its values, the Davines Group does not test its products, or the ingredients used in formulations on animals, nor does it delegate this type of testing to third parties.
As a result, in 2017, the Davines Group suspended the registration of new products in China to prevent animal testing by local authorities during registration, as required by law.
Only in 2021, the Group restarted the process of importing its products to China, following the introduction of the new Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR 2021, Decree No. 727 of the State Council), as it abolished the necessity of animal testing at registration stage for some categories.
