The Eternals
Closer to hairdressers, closer to people
The first Davines collection by Tom Connell in his new role as Davines Hair Art Director.
When the camera objective unveils the deepest nature of every person, that image becomes a symbol of humanity by capturing the most intimate element. In this collection beauty reveals itself naturally and with authenticity. Tom Connell, new Davines Hair Art Director, has created a collection for those who wear it, giving them the freedom to express their personal identity.
“
I always keep a document with me to write down things that catch my attention: a haircut I saw on the street, a piece of furniture, a film clip. Once a month, I read it and see a connection between all the elements, and I develop my ideas from there.

The Colour: inspired by designer Dieter Rams
Colour choices have also drawn inspiration from the philosophy of the famous designer Dieter Rams, founder of the principle according to which “having small touches of colour makes it more colourful”. The choice of applying colour with selective rigour has enabled Tom to create, for each look, shrouded visual levels that unveil at a second glance whilst resulting in absolute harmony. The tone on tone colour line by Davines, View, and the permanent colour line Mask with Vibrachrome have been used in synergy to create the collection looks, and give hair shine and body.
