The project

The Sunny Day Campaign is a project that VANITYLAB Salon & Artisan Project - Westlake, Ohio - have come up with to treat people experiencing hardship to a whole day devoted to them.

The winning nominee receives a complementary haircut and style, facial wax, makeup application and a basket of the products used to style them that day.

The treatment is held at VanityLab on a monthly basis, scheduled to the nominee’s convenience.

But VANITYLab team have big goals in mind: they're looking forward to growing and offering more for people who deserve an unforgettably beautiful day.

How does it work?

Cleveland locals are invited to nominate someone they feel deserves a day devoted to beauty.

The recipient is chosen based on the nominations sent to thesunndaycampaign@gmail.com and nomination forms placed in the salon. The nominations are then assessed and voted on by the staff.

The winners are then invited to schedule a day convenient for them and will receive a complimentary haircut and color, facial waxing, makeup application, and a basket of the products used to style them that day. In addition to that, they are also treated to local business donations.

In addition to their cosmetic services, the Sunny Day Campaign so far includes a limo and high end cuisine, both generously donated by local Cleveland businesses.

What's in the future?

The Sunny Day Campaign has gone so well that the VANITYLAB team is looking to expand and collaborate with more local businesses to craft a day filled with treatments catered to each recipient. The projects vision further includes offering massage/ relaxation treatment, nails, clothing boutique gift cards, and more.
